Believe in Your Possibilities
December 24. For all who believe in Santa or Jesus, December 24 is Christmas Eve. It’s a day many have waited and planned for, inspired by long-held traditions that bring families and friends together under common beliefs.
On Christmas Eve, children’s anticipation of Santa’s sleigh on the rooftop and the goodies left under the tree is almost unbearable. Their imagination runs wild. On this night, reindeers will fly. One plump man will swoop down every chimney on earth, with a sack on his back that holds every child’s most desired object of affection. Who can sleep? The possibilities are endless.
The anticipation of the birth of a child, Baby Jesus on Christmas Eve, is full of wonder and suspense. The birth of a child changes everything. While we wait, our heart and mind races into the future. Will the babe resemble mom or dad, grandma or granddad, in appearance or demeanor? How will this new life change me, the family — the world?
Whether it’s Santa or Baby Jesus, both renew our joy, hope and belief in life’s possibilities.
This Christmas Eve, imagine what is possible for you. Let your imagination run wild. This is where financial planning begins.
Believe in the glistening promise of your life. There is hope. Follow your star to claim the future that is yours.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous —
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
Give other people permission to do the same.”
